Where to rent a factory

If your goods move through Westports, Pulau Indah keeps trucking short. Pulau Indah Industrial Park sits next to the port and is reached by the Pulau Indah Expressway (an extension of KESAS) and the SKVE towards Putrajaya.

For smaller operations, the Port Klang Free Zone on Pulau Indah rents light industrial units on 1 to 3 year leases. About 65% of those units were taken in 2026.

On the mainland, Port Klang and Klang have older estates closer to town and to Northport, including Bukit Raja, Meru, Kapar, Pandamaran and Klang Selatan. These suit businesses that serve the Klang Valley as much as the port.

Across 662 factory tenancies in Klang and Port Klang in the 24 months to July 2026, the median rent was RM1.44 psf a month: RM1.44 for terrace, RM1.76 for semi-D and RM1.24 for detached factories. Tenancy terms to agree
